Een weekend in oktober

Vrijdagavond wilde Max per se sushi proberen.
Max was determined to try sushi on Friday.

Zaterdag stond het Colony Meadows Fall Carnival op het programma. Eerst een rondje om het veld, daarna mochten ze klimmen, glijden, koekhappen en aan een tombola meedoen.

On Saturday we went to the Colony Meadows Fall Festival. First the boys had to compete in a one-lap race around the track and then there were other attractions.

Eerst een rondje samen oefenen en daarna op leeftijd racen. Oscar en Max renden samen in de PreK groep (4 jaar) en als grote winnaar kwam Oscar binnen. (Er liepen twee mooie meisjes voorop dus dat hielp.) Daarna was Christopher aan de beurt. After a trial run together, Oscar and Max ran in the PreK group with Oscar coming in first. Later, it was Christopher's turn with the 1st graders.

En na afloop gingen we door naar de Shell company picnic met nog meer spelletjes.

And then we went to the Shell company picnic with more games and prizes.
